Breeding to better the breed

At STAFFofLIFE we take pride in the fact that we are a small kennel.  In this way, we are able to concentrate on breeding for a quality dog that is true to type and that has excellent temperament.  We have four foundation dogs, three of which are Tykabul staffords, from which we have produced quite beautiful litters.

Only the best will do!

We are new on the breeding scene, however, we have owned Staffords for years and loved them for even longer!  There is no other breed of dog as far as we are concerned.  This is why the protection of our dogs' bloodlines; the careful selection of stud dogs and brood bitches in order to complement those bloodlines; and the ultimate placement of pups in the very best of homes, is of paramount importance to us. 

Show dogs

Look out for us in the shows.  Hopefully you will see some of our babies in the ring, maybe with a ribbon round their necks!  It is usual for us to place our pups on the limited register (which means no showing or breeding), as a precautionary measure against puppy farmers and careless backyard breeders.

Pet dogs

Everybody loves a Stafford, it seems!  And why not?!  For us, placing one of our pups is the hardest of tasks and we take it very seriously.  So please don't be offended by the mountains of questions we may ask of you, it just means that we take a lot of pride in our babies and want to make sure that a new home would love them as much as we would and that they will live a long happy life in their new family.  Conversely, please don't be afraid to ask questions of us (or any other breeder, for that matter!).  There is no such thing as too much information.
